If callers cannot hear you when using Avaya Communicator, but you can hear them, there could be several causes.
- Connection glitch:
- Unplug, pause, then re-plug your headphones into your computer
- Check your headphone cable, does it have other plugs that should be un-plugged and re-plugged, e.g. connection into a control panel?
- Windows sound check:
- Test the microphone using Windows settings - if windows cannot detect any sound, the problem is not with Avaya Communicator
- Avaya Communicator Settings
- Choose Settings, Audio
- Ensure Microphone option is populated with the device corresponding to your headset
